Wizz Air deploys its second jet at Sarajevo, launches four new routes!

Wizz Air stationed its second Airbus A320 aircraft at Sarajevo base two days ago, which allowed the airline to operate on two routes simultaneously, or 12 flights a day. The airline also resumed the flights to Brussels Charleroi on 15 December which were suspended for a month. They will operate until 9 January 2022 before being suspended again until late March 2022.

Wizz Air will also start the flights on four routes today: Malmo, Cologne, Hamburg and Frankfurt Hahn.

The first flight to Malmo departed this morning at 06:10AM. The airline will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday on this route until 8 January 2022. The route will be resumed again on 5 March 2022 with the same number of weekly operations.

Sarajevo - Cologne route is launched this afternoon with the first flight to depart at 12:05PM. The airline will operate three times a week on this route as well until 8 January 2022. The flights will be resumed again on 28 March 2022.

The third route to be launched today is Hamburg with the flight departing at 05:10PM. The flights will be operated every Thursday and Sunday until 9 January 2022 before being reduced on once a week for the rest of the season. They will then operate every Sunday until 3 March 2022 when Wizz Air will return the Thursday rotation. This is also the only new route to remain in operation after mid January.
