Wizz Air stationed its second Airbus A320 aircraft at Sarajevo base two days ago, which allowed the airline to operate on two routes simultaneously, or 12 flights a day. The airline also resumed the flights to Brussels Charleroi on 15 December which were suspended for a month. They will operate until 9 January 2022 before being suspended again until late March 2022.
Wizz Air will also start the flights on four routes today: Malmo, Cologne, Hamburg and Frankfurt Hahn.
The first flight to Malmo departed this morning at 06:10AM. The airline will operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday on this route until 8 January 2022. The route will be resumed again on 5 March 2022 with the same number of weekly operations.
Sarajevo - Cologne route is launched this afternoon with the first flight to depart at 12:05PM. The airline will operate three times a week on this route as well until 8 January 2022. The flights will be resumed again on 28 March 2022.
The third route to be launched today is Hamburg with the flight departing at 05:10PM. The flights will be operated every Thursday and Sunday until 9 January 2022 before being reduced on once a week for the rest of the season. They will then operate every Sunday until 3 March 2022 when Wizz Air will return the Thursday rotation. This is also the only new route to remain in operation after mid January.
Sarajevo - Frankfurt Hahn flight will depart at 06:20PM. There are three weekly rotations on this route, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays until 8 January 2022. The flights will be resumed on 26 February 2022 with the same amount of weekly operations.
