Wizz Air has ended the flights on seven routes from Skopje, Ohrid, Belgrade, Tuzla and Ljubljana which proved to be unprofitable for the low cost carrier. All of these routes were currently suspended and were expected to be resumed in late March or early May of the next year. The tickets on all of the following routes have been removed from sale and the routes are terminated.
Wizz Air has so far terminated Skopje - Billund and Skopje - Turin service. Both routes were among the their last expansion at Skopje in late 2021. Only Skopje - Bologna route remains in operation from that expansion which proved to be profitable. Wizz Air has also discontinued the flights from Skopje to Larnaca, Barcelona, Hannover and Salzburg in 2021. The airline will not fly from Friedrichshafen to Ohird anymore, even though the flights were planned to be resumed on 28th March. This was also the latest route of Wizz from Ohrid. The airline discontinued Milan Malpensa - Ohrid flights in 2021 as well. Flights from Belgrade to Frankfurt Hahn are also not available anymore. Previously, Wizz Air planned to resume this route in March next year with three weekly rotations. The airline launched flights from the Serbian capital to Hahn in Frankfurt in late 2021 together with the flights to Oslo, Vaxjo and Barcelona. So far, only the route to Barcelona remains in operation from that expansion. Tuzla - Vaxjo flights are discontinued as well. the airline operated on this route during the busy summer months, from mid-June until late September this year. Brussels Charleroi - Ljubljana route is also terminated. This route was suspended until next summer and it was their second route to Ljubljana. Only a single route remains to be operated to the Slovenian capital now, from London Luton.
