Wizz Air further suspends and reduces operations from the Balkan!


Wizz Air will further suspend the flights on two routes from Skopje and Belgrade base and will reduce some of its operations from Ohrid, Nis, Pristina, Tirana, Sofia and Varna in the upcoming period.


The airline no longer plans to operate on Skopje - Vaxjo route this winter season. The last flight will be operated on 2nd October and the next scheduled operation is on 30th March 2023. This is the 5th route which will not be in operation during the winter, among with Malta, Turin, Billund and Turku as previously reported.


Belgrade - Frankfurt Hahn route will also be suspended through out the winter season. The airline will stop the flights on 29th September and will resume them on 28th March 2023. The routes to Billund, Oslo Torp and Vaxjo are also not included in the winter-season schedule as previously noted.


Wizz Air will reduce the operations on some routes during the month of October.


Skopje - Memmingen flights will be reduced from five to four times a week as of 1st October and they will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.


Skopje - Gothenburg route will be reduced from four to three times per week and will operate on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays in October.


Skopje - Malmo flights will be reduced from five to four times a week and will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays with no rotation on Wednesdays in October.


Ohrid - Vienna route will be reduced from three to two times per week in October and will be operated every Monday and Friday only, with no flights on Wednesday.


Belgrade - Gothenburg route will be reduced from three to twice a week and will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays.


Pristina - Vienna flights will be reduced from four to three times per week and will operate every Monday, Friday and Sunday with no flights on Wednesday.


Pristina - Memmingen route will be reduced from five to four times per week and will operate every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday with no flights on Thursdays.


Tirana - Brussels Charleroi flights will be reduced from five to four times per week and will operate every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with no flights on Sunday.


Sofia - Milan Bergamo will be reduced on five times per week and will operate every day except on Fridays and Saturdays.


Varna - Brussels Charleroi will be reduced from three to twice per week and will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays in October.


Varna - Frankfurt Hahn will be reduced form three to twice per week and will operate every Monday and Friday with no flights on Wednesday.
