Wizz Air launched the flights from Belgrade and Tirana to Nice as well as from Rome to Podgorica and Belgrade this week.
The airline started the operations from Belgrade to Nice this Tuesday, 29 March. The flights will operate every Tuesday and Saturday during the summer season with Airbus A321 aircraft. Air Serbia will also operate on this route this summer season.
Tirana - Nice route entered in operation a day later, on 30 March, the flights will operate every Wednesday and Sunday with Airbus A321 aircraft this season.
Wizz Air has also started the operations on the route Belgrade - Rome Ciampino yesterday. The airline previously planned to operate from the airport of Fiumicino in Rome to Belgrade but later switched it to Ciampino for this summer season. The flights will operate three times a week, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday with Airbus A321 aircraft ( 230 seats capacity ). As of 1 November, Wizz Air will operate on this route from Fiumicino airport.
Rome Fiumicino - Podgorica flights were launched on 27 March. They will operate every Monday, Friday and Sunday until 1 May and every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 2 May until 3 June. As of 9 June they will be increased on four times a week and will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Airbus A321neo aircraft with 239 seats capacity is deployed on this route.
Wizz Air will launch London Gatwick - Podgorica route on 9 April, Tirana - Friedrichshafen on 11 April and Tirana - Rimini route on 15 April. The operations to Kukes in Albania will start in early June.
