Wizz Air launches two new routes from Skopje, resumes Nuremberg service!


Wizz Air has started the flights from Skopje to Billund and Bologna last Sunday, 19 December. The airline will operate twice a week to Billund on Wednesdays and Sundays and once a week, each Sunday to Bologna during the upcoming holidays. Both routes will get suspended in mid January and will be resumed again in late March when the summer season starts. Airbus A321 aircraft is deployed for both routes. The third route, Skopje - Turin is scheduled to be launched on 3 March 2022.


Among the new routes, Wizz Air also resumed one last route, Skopje - Nuremberg. The flights to Nuremberg in Germany will operate each Thursday and Sunday until 9 January. They will be resumed again on 13 March. Airbus A320 aircraft is deployed on this route.


Wizz Air operates with five aircrafts from Skopje base currently ( three A321s and two A320s ) to: Rome Fiumicino, Milan Malpensa, Bologna, Venice Treviso, Barcelona, Bratislava, Memmingen, Friedrichshafen, Nuremberg, Karlsruhe / Baden - Baden, Frankfurt Hahn, Dortmund, Cologne, Berlin Brandenburg, Hamburg, Basel, Paris Beauvais. London Luton, Brussels Charleroi, Eindhoven, Copenhagen, Billund, Malmo, Vaxjo, Gothenburg, Stockholm Skavsta, Oslo Torp and Turku.


Malta, Larnaca, Hannover and Bremen will remain suspended until late March 2022.
