The low cost carrier Wizz Air has leased second Boeing B737-800 jet from the Ukrainian Airline Sky Up Airlines for its operations in Tirana, Albania last week.
The Budapest based carrier previously leased B737-800 aircraft from Sky Up for its operations at Sofia. That aircraft with registration UR-SQO left Sofia Airport yesterday and arrived in Tallinn after the contract for the leased aircraft expired on 31st August. Wizz Air yesterday deployed their own Airbus A320 aircraft which arrived at Sofia around 5AM from Cluj - Napoca in Romania.
This Boeing B737-800 aircraft of Sky Up Airlines with registration UR-SQM has been operating flights on behalf of Wizz Air since the last week. The aircraft is mostly deployed on the flights to Italy, including Rome Fiumicino, Milan Bergamo, Milan Malpensa, Pisa, Bari and Pescara. Among this aircraft, Wizz Air is operating with five Airbus A321 aircrafts with 230 seats and two Airbus A320neo aircrafts with 186 seats out of Tirana base.
