Wizz Air returns back to Ljubljana with direct flights from London Luton base!

Wizz Air has made its return from London Luton to Ljubljana yesterday, after two years hiatus. The return of the flights for this route was announced in mid September this year. As of yesterday, 13 December, Wizz Air will operate three times a week between London Luton and Ljubljana, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday until 7 January 2022. The route will then be reduced on twice a week and will operate every Monday and Friday until late March 2022. Summer seasonal flights are aslo availible for this route in 2022. Airbus A320 aircraft with capacity of 186 seats is deployed on all flights on this route.

Wizz Air faces no direct competition on this route since easyJet canceled the plans to launch Luton - Ljubljana flights in late March next year. However, easyJet will still continue to operate from London Gatwick to Ljubljana with few weekly rotations.
