Wizz Air has changed the time-table for Skopje base for the upcoming winter season. The fastest growing carrier in Europe has increased the flights to over 15 destinations from Skopje base as of December 13 this year. They plan to operate with full 100% capacity from Skopje base this winter, just like they did before the start of the pandemic.
Wizz Air will increase the flights to the following routes from Skopje as of 13 December:
Brussels Charleroi: 2x - 4x: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
Basel: 7x - 10x: every day and twice a day every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Berlin Brandenburg: 2x - 3x: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Cologne: 3x - 4x: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
Dortmund: 4x - 5x: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
Frankfurt Hahn: 2x - 3x: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Hamburg: 2x - 3x: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Karlsruhe / Baden - Baden: 2x - 3x: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Memmingen: 3x - 5x: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday
Bratislava: 2x - 3x: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Gothenburg; 2x - 3x: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Malmo: 2x - 5x: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday
Stockholm Skavsta: 2x - 3x: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
London Luton: 2x - 5x: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
The flights to Brussels are currently operating three times a week, they will be reduced on twice as of October until mid December. Basel flights are operating every day, they will be decreased on four times a week in November and increased on 10 times a week in December. Dortmund flights are currently operating 5 times a week, they will operate four times during November as planned and will be increased again on five in December. Frankfurt and Hamburg flights will be reduced from three to two times a week in October, however they will return with the regular service in December. Gothenburg will continue to operate twice a week for another month, until mid December instead of November, Malmo will operate every Thursday and Sunday in November instead of Monday Wednesday and Friday. The flights to London Luton will be reduced from three to twice a week as of October, however they will be the first ones to be increased on December 6. Skopje - Rome Champino increase on three weekly rotations is delayed for 28 March 2022. Skopje - Milan Malpensa flights will be reduced on one weekly rotation in November, every Friday, Vaxjo flights will be suspended from October 3 until mid December instead of October 31.
Wizz Air will operate with five Airbus Aircrafts as of December 13, two of them will be Airbus A321 with 230 seats capacity and the other three will be Airbus A320 with 180 seats capacity. The airline will operate 13 daily operations every day except on Wednesday when Wizz Air will operate to 14 cities including: Brussels. Turku, Basel, Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Memmingen, Nurnberg, Bologna, Treviso, Gothenburg, Malmo, Stockholm and London.
Wizz Air will operate 85 round-trip flights and will handle 34.000 passengers a week, or over 350 round -trip flights and over 145.000 seats a month,
