Wizz Air has terminated the flights from both Skopje and Belgrade to Hannover this week. The carrier had scheduled flights from both cities in the Balkan to Hannover which were expected to be resumed on 27 March and to operate twice a week. However, after the maintenance of the website of the airline was completed, these two routes were no longer to be found.
These were the last two routes that Wizz Air planned to operate to Hannover as the route from Varna was terminated two weeks ago. Now, Hannover is no longer a destination of Wizz Air.
However, Wizz Air will continue to operate to 10 destinations in Germany this summer season, and Skopje is connected with all of them. Hannover is the third route that Wizz Air terminated from Skopje base, together with Barcelona and Larnaca, Now the carrier is left with the same number of routes from Skopje as before the expansion in late 2021.
