Wizz Air plans to deploy three Airbus A321neo aircraft at Skopje base this summer season which begins on 28 March. The carrier will continue to operate with five aircrafts, three Airbus A321neo and two Airbus A320 jets to 32 destinations. The same number of aircrafts is deployed this winter season as well, but non of them is neo - the new generation of the Airbus A320 family. The Airbus A321neo aircraft has capacity of 239 seats in one class configuration, 9 seats more then the traditional Airbus A321 jet. Also, the neo variant spends less fuel and its engines are quieter.
Wizz Air will deploy Airbus A321neo aircraft to the following routes: Billund, Copenhagen, Turku, Basel, Paris Beauvais, Berlin Brandenburg, Cologne, Frankfurt Hahn, Hamburg, Hannover, Karlsruhe / Baden - Baden, Memmingen, Nuremberg, Milan Malpensa, Bologna, Rome Fiumicino, Malta, Bratislava, Eindhoven, Gothenburg, Stockholm Skavta and Vaxjo.
Airbus A320 aircraft will be deployed to Brussels Charleroi, Bremen, Dortmund, Friedrichshafen, Budapest, Treviso, Turin, Oslo Torp, Malmo and London Luton.
