Wizz Air to end nine routes from Bosnia and Herzegovina!

Updated: Aug 2, 2022

Wizz Air will end nine routes from both Tuzla and Sarajevo base after the end of the summer season. After late October, the airline will no longer operate from Sarajevo to Brussels Charleroi, Paris Beauvais, Treviso, Oslo Torp, Gothenburg, Malmo and Stockholm Skavsta as well as from Tuzla to Billund and Milan Malpensa. One jet will be removed from Sarajevo, so the base will be left with only one Airbus A320 aircraft. There are no scheduled flights for these nine routes for the upcoming winter season or for the next summer season, which means that they will be terminated.

The airline has already terminated the flights between Tuzla and Milan which were previously announced to be resumed in early November, however the tickets are removed from sale and there are no available flights for this route.

With this move, Wizz Air will no longer have direct flights from its base in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Sweden, as all three routes will end. The carrier will continue to operate on these three routes, but from Tuzla as well as from Banja Luka to Malmo and Stockholm Skavsta. As we previously announced on our page, Tuzla - Vaxjo service will end as well. Tuzla base is also not going to be connected with Denmark as of 27th October. However, Wizz Air will continue to operate direct flights to Denmark in Copenhagen and Billund from Sarajevo base. Bosnia and Herzegovina will be left with only one direct route to Italy, Banja Luka - Milan Bergamo operated by Ryanair.
