Wizz Air has announced that will launch new route from Bucharest Otopeni base this winter-season. The airline will start flights to Cardiff in the United Kingdom on 30th October. The flights will be operated twice a week, every Tuesday and Sunday during the season. Airbus A321neo with 239 seats will be deployed on this route.
On Tuesdays, the aircraft will depart to Cardiff at 20:35 local time and will arrive there at 22:20. The return flight will depart at 22:55 and will arrive back in Romania at 04:30 local time. On Sundays, the departure time to Cardiff is at 19:30 local time and the arrival time is at 21:15. The return flight will depart at 21:50 UTC and will arrive in Bucharest at 03:25 UTC+2.
This will be the fourth route that Wizz Air will launch from Bucharest this year. The airline will also launch Rimini and Aarhus service on 29 September as well as Ancona service on 13 December. Among Cardiff, Wizz Air also flies from Bucharest to Birmingham, Doncaster, Liverpool, London Luton, London Gatwick and Edinburgh in the United Kingdom.
