The low cost carrier Wizz Air has announced the launch of 20 new routes from the Balkan, Hungary, Austria, Italy and Cyprus to Jeddah, Dammam and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. Among the 20 routes there are four from the Balkan, such as Tirana - Dammam, Bucharest - Jeddah & Riyadh and Sofia - Riyadh. All of them will be launched this December.
Tirana - Dammam flights will start on 17th April 2023 and will operate twice a week, every Monday and Friday with Airbus A321neo aircraft ( 239 seats ).
Sofia - Riyadh flights will start on 20th April 2023 and will operate twice a week, every Thursday and Sunday with Airbus A321 aircraft ( 230 seats ).
Bucharest - Riyadh flights will start on 9th January 2023 and will operate on Mondays and Thursdays during the winter-season and on Monday and Fridays during the next summer-season i.e. as of 27th March 2023. Airbus A321neo aircraft with 239 seat capacity will be deployed.
Bucharest - Jeddah flights will start on 10th January 2023 and will operate every Tuesday and Saturday during the upcoming winter and the next summer-season with Airbus A321neo aircraft ( 239 seats ).

Wizz Air will also launch flights to these three new Saudi Arabian destinations from Larnaca, Budapest, Vienna, Venice, Milan Malpensa, Rome Fiumicino, Naples and Catania. The first ever flight of Wizz Air to Saudi Arabia is scheduled for 28th September on the route Rome Fiumicino - Dammam. Wizz Air will also launch flights from Abu Dhabi to Dammam this winter season.
I think Tirana-Jeddah and/or Prishtina-Jeddah would be profitable too in the pilgrim-season
