Budapest based carrier Wizz Air will launch its 46th route from Tirana base this winter. The airline has announced Tirana - Athens service today.
The flights to the capital of Greece will start on 12th December of this year and will run three times per week, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday during the winter season and every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday as of late March 2023 i.e. next summer season.

Wizz Air will also launch Athens - Tel Aviv service on 12th December and since nether of these cities are base of Wizz Air, the route will be operated from Tirana base using "W-rotation". That means that the Airbus A321neo aircraft will operate as following: Tirana - Athens - Tel Aviv - Athens - Tirana every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
