Wizz Air will operate 6 888 flights to and from its Balkan bases and destinations during the seventh month of the year, representing an increase by 22,79% if compared to May and 11,75% if compared to June. Most of the flights as usual will be operated from Tirana base ( 1 472 ), followed by Sofia ( 1 030 ), Skopje ( 824 ) and Belgrade ( 602 flights ). The carrier will operate 498 flights from Varna, 400 flights from Burgas, 392 flights from Sarajevo and 362 flights from Tuzla base. Among these eight bases of Wizz Air, the carrier will also operate to Split ( 256 flights ), Pristina ( 248 flights ), Podgorica ( 190 ), Ohrid ( 134 ), Nis ( 114 ), Banja Luka ( 98 ), Dubrovnik ( 94 ), Kukes ( 72 ), Plovdiv ( 58 ) and Ljubljana with 44 flights.
Wizz Air has deployed 29 aircrafts across its eight bases in the Balkan, most of them operate from Tirana ( 8 planes ), Sofia ( 6 planes ) and Skopje ( 5 planes ).
