The low cost carrier Wizz Air will operate 5 084 flights from seven bases and eight other destinations across the Balkan in April, as a result of the start of the summer season. That is 58,6% more scheduled flights then in March or + 131,5% if compared to February. Most of the flights or 1390 will be operated from Tirana base, followed by Sofia with 960 flights and Skopje with 574 flights in April. Wizz Air will operate more flights from Sarajevo ( 336 flights ) then from Tuzla base this month ( 302 flights ). Wizz Air will operate to a total of 58 routes from Skopje, Tirana, Belgrade, Sofia, Sarajevo, Tuzla and Varna base in April. Most of the flights, 448 in total will be operated to and from London Luton, followed by Dortmund with 254 flights, Memmingen with 238 flights, Milan Malpensa with 152 flights and Milan Bergamo with 146 flights this month from all seven bases.
Among the seven bases, the carrier will operate on eight other destinations in the Balkan, including Ohrid, Pristina, Nis, Podgorica, Banja Luka, Ljubljana, Burgas and Plovdiv. Here are the details:
Wizz Air sees an increase in the number of the operations in April if compared to March on all Balkan destinations except for Burgas where the carrier will operate the same number of flights as it did in March. The biggest increase is in Sarajevo, Ohrid, Podgorica, Banja Luka and Ljubljana.
