Wizz Air to reduce and increase some operations from Belgrade this winter-season!

Wizz Air will reduce the operations on nine routes from its Belgrade base this upcoming winter-season in addition to those three which are already removed from the winter schedule.

The airline will operate on 18 routes to Belgrade this winter-season which begins on 30th October and ends on 25th March next year. This includes the flights to Larnaca, Nice, Basel, Paris, Dortmund, Hahn, Hamburg, Karlsruhe, Memmingen, Barcelona, Rome, Malta, Eindhoven, Malmo. Gothenburg, Skavsta, Abu Dhabi and Luton.

Additional changes have been made in the winter-season schedule as the airline will operate to Fiumicino airport in Rome instead of Ciampino which will further increase the demand on the route and will directly compete with Air Serbia. Further more, the flights to and from Dortmund will be operated from BEG base during the winter instead of Skopje using the "W-rotation" like this summer. The flights to Luton and Abu Dhabi will continue to be operated by Wizz Air UK and Wizz Air Abu Dhabi.

The Budapest based low cost carrier will reduce the flights on the following nine routes during the winter:

On the other hand, these 14 routes will see increased operations during the period of December - January:

Wizz Air will continue to operate with three Airbus A321 aircrafts with 230 seat capacity during the winter-season. Nine routes will be operated on Sundays, which is the most the carrier will operate during the winter, including London and Abu Dhabi.

The busiest route during the winter will be London Luton with five weekly operations during the whole season. The flights will be operated every day except on Tuesdays and Saturdays with Airbus A321 aircraft of Wizz Air UK.

Wizz Air to increase the flights between Abu Dhabi and Belgrade!

Wizz Air Abu Dhabi will offer four weekly operations to Belgrade starting October 3rd. The flights will run on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays during the month and on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays as of 30th October. Airbus A321neo aircraft with 239 seats will remain deployed.
