Wizz Air will be resuming the flights to four routes from Skopje and Ohrid this winter-season. The airline plans to resume the flights from Skopje to Malta on November 1 and to Larnaca on November 2. The flights to both routes will operate twice a week ( Monday and Friday to Malta, Tuesday and Saturday to Larnaca ) with Airbus A321 aircraft. Among these, Wizz Air will resume two routes to Ohrid from Milan Malpensa and London Luton on October 31. Both will operate twice a week, every Wednesday and Sunday with Airbus A320 and A321neo aircraft. All these routes were suspended for a while and were planned to resume several times before which didnt happend due to the low demand caused by the travel restrictions on Cyprus, Malta, Italy and UK.
Wizz Air will operate to 31 destinations from Skopje this winter season, among them are Billund, Turin and Bologna which were announced recently. Bremen, Hannover and Budapest will not be in operation this winter season. There will be five Airbus aircraft deployed at Skopje base this winter-season.
