Wizz Air will suspend the flights on one route from Sofia to Italy next month over winter-season. The airline will not operate from the Bulgarian capital to Bari this winter, as the last scheduled flight for this year is on 4th November. Until then, the route will continue to be operated twice a week. Flights will be resumed on 28th March 2023 with three weekly rotations.
Wizz Air will also reduce the operations from Sofia to Bologna, Naples and Rome next month. Flights to Billund and Bratislava are already suspended, while to Malta will stop on 14th October. Bari is the fourth route not to be included in the winter-season schedule from Sofia base.
However, the airline will launch Hamburg and Stockholm Skavsta service this December as well as flights to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia next April.
