Wizz Air to suspend three routes from Skopje!


Wizz Air will suspend the flights on three routes from Skopje base this month. The carrier will not operate to Billund, Turku and Turin during the winter-season.


The flights to Turin will stop on 14th September, to Billund will stop on 15th September and to Turku on 17th September. All three routes will be resumed at the end of March 2023. Until the suspension, the flights on all three routes will continue to operate as planned.


The airline will also reduce the operations on some route as of 30th October, this includes:

  • Copenhagen: from three to two weekly ( Monday & Friday )

  • Berlin: from three to two weekly ( Wednesday & Saturday )

  • Cologne: from four to three weekly ( Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday )

  • Hahn: from three to two weekly ( Tuesday & Saturday )

  • Friedrichshafen: from three to two weekly ( Tuesday & Saturday )

  • Hamburg: from three to two weekly ( Thursday & Sunday )

  • Memmingen: from five to four weekly ( Monday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday )

  • Eindhoven: from three to two weekly ( Monday & Friday )

  • Bratislava: from three to two weekly ( Monday & Friday )


However, Wizz Air still plans to operate daily flights to Dortmund, five weekly flights to Gothenburg, Malmo and Memmingen, four weekly flights to Hamburg, Cologne and Brussels Charleroi and three weekly flights to Copenhagen, Berlin, Hahn, Friedrichshafen, Eindhoven and Bratislava during the winter holidays period December - January.


There is no change in the number of the weekly flights to Brussels, Basel, Paris Beauvais, Dortmund, Bremen, Karlsruhe, Nuremberg, Milan, Treviso, Rome, Bologna, Vaxjo, Stockholm and London.
