Wizz Air has further downgraded the flights on three routes from Sofia, Tirana and Banja Luka.
The low cost carrier will suspend the flights from Tirana to Malmo on 22nd October and will not operate on the route during the winter. Flights are available again as of 28th March 2023. Tirana - Stockholm Skavsta flights will remain in operation for now.
Sofia - Malta flights are also not included in the winter-season anymore. The airline will stop the operations on 14th October and will resume the route again on 27th March 2023.
Stockholm Skavsta - Banja Luka flights will be suspended this Friday, October 7th. The route will be resumed on 13th December of this year with two weekly rotations on Tuesdays and Saturdays. It comes after the strong competition of Ryanair which operates to Banja Luka from the main Airport of Stockholm - Arlanda.
Previously, Wizz Air removed the winter-season flights on the route Friedrichshafen - Ohrid, Belgrade - Hahn, Oslo and Billund, Skopje - Vaxjo, Turin, Billund and Malta, Sofia - Bratislava, Billund and London Gatwick, Tirana - Billund, Sarajevo - Malmo, Gothenburg, Treviso, Charleroi, Beauvais and Skavsta and Tuzla - Vaxjo, Milan Malpensa and Billund.
