WizzAir resumes six routes from Sofia!


The low cost carrier WizzAir has resumed the flights to six destinations from its network in Sofia: Lisbon, Alicante, Catania, Naples, Bologna and Billund this month.

WizzAir firstly resumed Sofia - Naples route on June 4, the flights are operating every Monday and Friday as well as Sofia - Catania route on June 5, the flights are 0perating every Tuesday and Saturday with Airbus A320 aircraft. Wizz then resumed Sofia - Lisbon flights on June 14, they are operating every Monday and Friday with Airbus A321 aircraft. Sofia - Bologna route was resumed last Tuesday, June 15, the flights on this route are operating every Tuesday and Saturday with Airbus A321neo aircraft. The flights to Bologna will be increased on three times a week in July only by adding additional weekly rotation every Wednesday in the month. Sofia - Alicante is resumed on June 17, the flights on this route are going to operate every Thursday and Sunday with Airbus A321neo aircraft, The last route that was resumed is Sofia - Billund. The flights on this route are resumed as of yesterday, June 20. They will also operate every Thursday and Sunday but with Airbus A320 aircraft.

As previously reported, WizzAir has started the flights to their new destinations in Greece from Sofia, such as Chania, Corfu, Rhodes, Santorini and Zakynthos and has resumed the summer flights to Mykonos.

Sofia - Malaga route will start on July 2 and will operate every Monday and Friday while Sofia - Rome Fiumicino will start on July 16 and will operate four times a week.
