From a total of 24 destinations out of Tirana base, WizzAir is currently operating to only 7 of them: Berlin Brandenburg, Memmigen, Dortmund, Venice, Bologna, London Luton and Basel with reduced flights as well.
Otherwise, WizzAir opened the base at Tirana between August and September and launched lots of routes to Germany, as Hamburg, Karlsruhe, Frankfurt Hahn and to Italy like Verona, Pisa, Turin, Catania...The carrier planned to base three Airbus A320 aircrafts at Tirana, which after finished on two aircrafts due to the pandemic.
Here are the destinations which are scheduled to resume till the end of 2020:
Vienna - 18th December,
Brussels Charleroi - 18th December,
Bari - 18th December,
Verona - 5th December,
Milano Bergamo - 21st November,
Milano Malpensa - 4th December,
Pisa - 19th December,
Turin - 17th December,
Budapest - 17th December,
Paris Beauvais - 18th December,

and Prague - 18th December.
However, some of these routes are suspended for more then two months which means that the chances for they to resume this year are very low as the Europe Union is introducing more and more strong restrictive measures for passengers and for the travel.Even if those routes are going to resume, it is very expected they to not run as scheduled with two, three or four weeklu flight, they are expected to run with one weekly service due to the low demand becouse of the restrictive measures.
Some routes are suspended until the start of the next summer season which is on 28th of March 2021:
Catania - 30th March,
Hamburg - 29th March,
Frankfurt Hahn - 30th March,
Karlsruhe - 28th March.
The carrier also planes to start two brand new destinations from Tirana for the next summer season: Rhodes and Heraklion in Greece.
WizzAir had also based one Airbus A321NEO aircraft in Tirana which has capacity of 239 seats, compared to 180 seats on the Airbus A320, but they rebased the aircraft in Sofia due to the law demand in Tirana.
