WizzAir has begun the flights from its new Italian base Rome Fiumicino to Pristina last Sunday. The airline operates twice a week on this route, every Wednesday with Airbus A320neo and every Sunday with A321neo aircraft. However, the flights will be suspended this Sunday due to the low demand caused by the high restrictions for entering the country. They will be resumed on September 8th and will operate with the same flight schedule.
Among Pristina, WizzAir started its operations to Split at the beginning of the month and operates every Monday and Friday on the route since then. Due to the high demand, the flights will be increased on three times a week as of August by adding Wednesday rotation. Airbus A321neo and A320neo aircraft are deployed on the route Rome Fiumicino - Split.
Rome Fiumicino - Sofia route is also in operation as of this month. The flights are operating four times a week, on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The Sunday rotation will be removed during August and will be returned to the schedule on September 12.
Rome Fiumicino - Dubrovnik is delayed for a period of one month. The flights will start on September 7th instead of August 8th. They will operate three times a week once they start.
WizzAir opened its new base in Italy - Rome Fiumicino at the beginning of July.
