The low-cost carrier WizzAir will reduce the flights to eight destinations from Skopje base at the end of August and early September. Most of the destinations are in Sweden or Germany:
The mentioned carrier will reduce Skopje - Turku service from twice to once a week. The flights on this route will operate only on Saturday as of August 31. The Tuesday rotation will be returned on October 5th.
The flights to the city of Bremen will also be reduced as of July 17 when the last Tuesday rotation will be operated. They will continue to operate only on Saturday during September. The Tuesday rotations will be returned on October 5th.
WizzAir will also reduce the flights on the route Skopje - Hannover. The route will operate only on Sunday in September. The last Thursday rotation is scheduled for July 26 and it is expected to be returned on October 7th.
Skopje - Nurnberg flights are reduced as well. The airline will remove the Monday rotation on this route during the period 23 July - 4 October. The flights will operate only on Fridays in September.
The carrier has also removed four rotations on the route Skopje - Barcelona in September. The flights on this route will operate every Sunday only for a period of four weeks. The Thursday rotation will be removed as of September 2 and will be returned on October 7.
Skopje - Gothenburg & Malmo will also be reduced from three to two times a week. The Wednesday rotation for Gothenburg and the Thursday rotation for Malmo will not be in use during September.
The 8th route which will be reduced from the Skopje base is Vaxjo. The airline decided to cancel all Wednesday flights during the period 1 September - 20 October. The route will be operated only on Sundays during this period.
Among these eight routes, Wizz Air will return Copenhagen, Stockholm Skavsta, and Berlin Brandenburg to their usual weekly rotations. All three of them will operate twice a week as of early September.
There is also a change in the flight schedule for Rome Champino and Friedrichshafen. The flights to Rome will operate every Tuesday and Sunday instead of Saturday during September while Friedrichshafen will operate on Thursdays and Saturdays instead of Sundays.
