Zagreb Franjo Tudman Airport handled 194.993 passengers during the month of August, 2021, representing the busiest month since January 2020 when the airport handled something above 200.000 passengers. This represents a decrease by 48,1% if compared to August 2019 when the airport of Zagreb handled 376.026 passengers. It also shows an increase by over 108% if compared to the same period last year when the airport handled only 93.553 passengers.
The number of the aircraft movements is 3.086 which represents an increase by 37,5% if compared to August 2020 when the number was 2.246.
Most of the flights were operated by Croatia Airlines to Dubrovnik and Split, followed by KLM and Lufthansa. August will probably remain the busiest month for Zagreb Airport this year.
