Zagreb Franjo Tudman Airport handled more passengers in September then Skopje Airport which was in the lead during the busiest summer months this year. The airport handled 191.092 passengers in September according to the statistics on their website. This is representing an increase by 189,9% if compared to September 2020 when the airport welcomed 65.963 passengers. It also shows a decrease by 45,4% if compared to the same period before the pandemic, in 2019 when the airport handled 350.138 travelers trough its doors.
The number of the aircraft movements is 3.401 during the last month and 1.995 in September 2020.
Most of the flights were operated by Croatia Airlines to Dubrovnik, Split and Frankfurt, followed by Ryanair and KLM.
