Zagreb Airport reaches 85% of the pre-pandemic levels!


Zagreb Franjo Turdman Airport welcomed 265 317 passengers in May this year, representing a decrease by 14,78% if compared to the same month before the pandemic - in 2019 when 311 368 passengers were welcomed. Only 13 881 travelers were handled at the airport in May 2020 although it was the only one in Ex-Yugoslavia to remain open for traffic during the restrictions. There is an increase over 280% if compared to May last year when Zagreb Airport welcomed 69 019 passengers.


The number of the aircraft movements in May 2022 is 3722 which is 78% increase then in May last year when the number was 2 092.
