Zagreb Airport welcomed 253 666 passengers in November, up by 54,4% if compared to the same month last year and up by 2,6% if compared to November three years ago when 247 277 passengers were welcomed, before the pandemic, which represents a new record of passenger numbers in Zagreb Airport for the month of November.
The aircraft operations stood at 3 408, up by 1,75% when compared to November of 2019.
During the January - November period, Zagreb Airport welcomed some 2 876 869 passengers, down by 10,23% if compared to the same period three years ago. The airport is expecting to end this year with over 3 million passengers.
This results comes after Ryanair opened its base at Zagreb which significantly increased the number of flights from the airport and with that the passenger numbers as well.
